       Originally from Round Rock, Texas, Andrew Balettie graduated from Round Rock High School in 2008 and was a saxophone player under Ed Stein. While at Round Rock, Andrew studied saxophone with Dr. Joe Compean and Mr. Joey Colarusso. Andrew graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Music, specializing in instrumental music education. While at UNT, Andrew was an executive board member of the international, professional music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon. Also, he performed with the UNT Concert Band, the UNT Symphonic Band, the Green Brigade Marching Band, the Phi Tau Chorale, Phi Tau Winds, the UNT Secondary Band and the L.A.M.E. Saxophone Quartet. Professionally, Andrew has taught private lessons on Saxophone and Clarinet in Azle ISD. Also, he taught saxophone and woodwind masterclasses with the Start Up the Band program (as seen in the "Media" tab). In addition, he also served as an assistant conductor and percussion section leader in the Denton New Horizon's Senior Band. Andrew has an amazing fiancè named Liz and a Boxer mix named Lucy. He considers himself the luckiest man in the world to have both in his life!
